Meet Daisy May II!

Daisy May is a 3.5-year-old Pit Bull with a past that tugs at the heartstrings. Originally found as a stray and brought to Dallas Animal Services, she faced abandonment due to her previous owner’s housing issues. When I first met her at the shelter, her hopeful tail wags and excited energy caught my eye, showing me her incredible potential as a family pet. Although initially shy, Daisy is not reactive to other dogs; she warms up with gentle tail wags and has adjusted well to living with a medium-sized dog.

This sweet girl finds comfort in her crate, which she fills with toys (like 10 of them), and thrives outdoors, whether it’s for a walk or run around in a fenced yard. Daisy loves her morning walks, enjoys afternoon naps curled up like a donut, and gets the ‘zoomies’ after bathroom breaks. She would do best in a loving home where she can be the center of attention, ideally as an only pet or with slow introductions to other dogs. A family that appreciates leisurely walks and has a fenced yard for her to explore would be perfect for her.

Daisy May is ready to bring joy and companionship to her forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving friend, Daisy May could be the perfect addition to your family.
