Chiquita was rescued from the street as she was in danger of being eaten by Coyotes.
She risked her life and health several times to look and rescue her kittens. One time she called for help because her kitten was in distress as it was heat warning day and kitten was stuck in a roof exposed. She walked on a very hot roof to show humans were her kitten was. She then later spend all day and night looking for her other kittens as they had been dispersed after a Coyote attack.
She’s friendly to strangers though unsure if it might take a bit to warm up. She more than compensates with her very cuddly personality. She’ll sleep on our legs or next to us. Her kitten size at an adult age is extremely endearing. She’s litter box trained, loves catnip and silvervine and likes to play with her human.
She has no behavioral issues. Don’t be fooled by her slightly grumpy picture, she’s a happy cat despite everything she’s suffered. Her personality is more of an indoor cat.
