Carson is a sweet, almost 4-year-old Domestic Short Hair with a striking gold/orange coat, white stockings and chest, and beautiful golden eyes. He’s a neutered male who’s been loved and cared for since being adopted from the Hood County Animal Shelter as a tiny 2-pound kitten. His exact origin story is unknown, but from the moment he saw his humans through the glass, he made sure they noticed him—meowing loudly and proudly for attention, a habit he still has when he wants to be seen or heard.
Carson has a shy side at first, but once he warms up, he’s affectionate, playful, vocal, and very cuddly. He’s full of energy and curiosity, always ready to play—especially with his favorite round-and-round ball toy. He occasionally plays with his feline siblings, but they don’t always match his playful spirit. One of his favorite ways to wind down is snuggling next to his person in bed while they read.
He is litter trained and has no special health needs. Carson has been an indoor-only cat and should stay that way. While he has not been tested with dogs or children, we believe he would thrive in a normal, active household and may enjoy the companionship. He gets along well with other cats.
If you’re looking for a fun, loving companion with a big personality and a golden heart to match his eyes, Carson might just be the purrfect addition to your home.
