We’re thrilled to celebrate life-saving efforts in North Texas! Every dollar raised at this event directly supports the medical care of our beloved pets awaiting adoption. And to make things even better, this year’s crawl will be held exclusively at Community Beer Co. (CBC), now featuring the latest addition: the Dallas Pets Alive! (DPA) Adoption Container.
The Adoption Container marks a turning point in DPA’s journey, ushering in a new era of connectivity and opportunity. Boasting an outside bar for CBC patrons, a customized rooftop set to host private events, an outdoor play area for animals and potential adopters to socialize, a retail haven for DPA! goodies, and state-of-the-art technology for matchmaking experiences, this container became more than just a structure — it became a bustling hub of activity. From hosting adoption events to conducting training sessions, it quickly became the heart of DPA’s operations.
In 2023 alone, it facilitated an impressive 47 adoptions, 43 meet-and-greets, and welcomed 410 foster animals. Its presence at the brewery attracted thousands of potential adopters and supporters, igniting a passion for DPA’s mission to eliminate euthanasia of companion animals in North Texas. With its innovative design and strategic placement, the Adoption Container has become a beacon of hope, shining a light on the incredible work of DPA! and the pet companions it serves.

Here’s everything you need to know before you unleash the hounds:
- Age Requirements: All crawlers must be 21+ and ready to paw-ty responsibly with a valid photo ID. Sorry, kiddos, this event is strictly for the seasoned human.
- Transportation Options: Plan ahead and arrange for a designated driver, Uber, Lyft, or take the DART. Parking is available at the CBC parking lot. Just promise us you won’t drink and drive – it’s never worth the risk!
- What to Bring: Just yourself, your friends, and your fur babies on a short leash – no retractable leashes, please.
- Pet Requirements: All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on their vaccinations, and must get along with other dogs and humans. Please clean up after your pups! If weather conditions are not ideal for your dog to be outside for several hours, leave them home.
- Tipping the Bartenders: Tips are greatly appreciated! Bring cash or prepay tips by filling out the gratuity section when purchasing your ticket (suggested donation $10 per person).
