BestyBnB helps Domestic Violence, Mental Health, Veteran Services, Houseless Services, and Animal Welfare Agencies secure safe, temporary homes for Pets during their Owner’s time of crisis.
BestyBnB is an impact-driven, technical platform that supports Pet Advocacy Programming for both Social Services and Animal Welfare Agencies and enables them to find safe and confidential temporary housing for clients’ pets until they can be reunited. The platform bridges the gap between Social Services and Animal Welfare Agencies to enable Crisis Care and Safety Net Programs where they don’t already exist and serves to enhance such Programs where they do.
BestyBnB’s mission is to keep Pets and People safe, together, and connected for life by removing the barriers Pets may create to accessing Social Services and preventing Owner Surrenders. This is accomplished by creating Pet-Friendly Ecosystems within communities across the country.
In the last few months, BestyBnB has helped its Agency partners provide 3,000 + SAFE NIGHTS for Owners’ Pets during their time of crisis, with a 100% return-to-owner rate. To hear what some of our Agency Partners are saying about BestyBnB’s impact, watch this video!
BestyBnB recently partnered with the Positive Alternatives to Shelter Surrender (PASS) program at Dallas Pets Alive, which is the only program of its kind in North Texas. Dallas Pets Alive has made it a top priority to proactively work with the community to help keep pets in their homes and out of local shelters. Through collaborations with several partnering organizations, PASS volunteers connect pet owners with necessary and often life-saving resources that help families stay together.
BestyBnB’s mission fits in seamlessly with the efforts of DPA’s PASS program, and together we are building an extended network of pet caregivers that enable us to help more pets and pet owners during their time of need.
