DPA’s Dog of the Month – February: Meet Molly!

Molly’s story should have a happy, tail-wagging ending.  Our dream is to see her in a forever home with some fun kids to play with, taking long walks with her family and cuddling up on the sofa in the evenings with her favorite people.

Molly is a young pup with cute black and white spots who came to Dallas Pets Alive as a stray and found a loving foster home. Molly has come through some tough times. This resilient dog has been successfully treated for breast cancer and heartworm, gratefully soaking up lots of TLC from her foster family as she recovered.

Molly is described by her foster family as a people pleaser.  She will quickly become your shadow, likes to sit with you on the porch in the morning while you drink your coffee, and adores kids.  A yard and patio is as important to her as her walks.  She’s house and crate- trained, walks on a leash and would do well to wear a harness for her walks.  We see Molly happiest when she is the only pet in the house.

We hear that the true path to her heart is littered with deer antler treats.  Maybe that’s what she will want from you this Valentine’s Day!  If you are looking for a loving companion and one special Valentine this year, considering adopting MollyNow through February 28 her adoption fee is 50% off!
