Meet Dory!
If you’re looking for a best friend who is equal parts playful and cuddly, Dory is your girl! This sweet 2-year-old loves a good game of tug-of-war, happily romps around with her canine friends, and is just as content curling up in your lap afterward. She truly believes she’s a lap dog, and honestly, she’s pretty convincing.
Dory is friendly, easygoing, and gets along well with dogs and cats. She’s curious about feline friends but respectful, and she’s happy to share the couch for a cozy afternoon nap. She’s lived with teenage boys and has been wonderful with everyone she’s met. She also loves having a variety of toys to choose from and can entertain herself or invite her friends to join in the fun.
She’s potty trained, knows “sit” and “shake,” and is a quick learner who’s eager to please, especially if treats are involved. Dory is still working on her leash skills and has a habit of trying to sneak out open doors, so she’ll need a family committed to continuing her training and keeping her safe.
Dory has a moderate energy level that makes her an easy companion. She enjoys daily playtime but also appreciates downtime with her favorite people. Since she’s used to having someone home most of the day, she’d love a home where she can spend plenty of time with her family. At night, she’s happiest snuggled up in bed right beside her humans.
With her playful personality, gentle nature, and endless supply of cuddles, Dory is the kind of dog who makes every day a little brighter. She’s ready to find a family to call her own!
