Loyal, Smart, and Loving Staffy Mix Looking for Her Perfect Match
Leia is a 2-year-old, 40-pound bully mix who is as brilliant as she is affectionate. House-trained, crate-trained, and highly intelligent, Leia loves routine and absolutely excels at learning new things. She responds wonderfully to marker-based training, is deeply bonded to her people, and shows incredible potential in a structured environment. If you are looking for a devoted, loving companion who is eager to please and ready to work alongside you, Leia is truly a special dog.
Because Leia has a strong personality and a high prey drive, she is not a match for households with children or small animals. While she can enjoy supervised play and walks with other dogs, she experiences sudden, high-arousal “light switch” moments when overstimulated. For this reason, she should ideally be the only pet, or go to a home with an owner highly experienced in Staffy/bully breeds who knows how to safely manage and read this behavior. She needs a secure environment and a calm, structured routine. To help with her ongoing success, her current owner is happy to connect her new family with an incredible trainer who they have worked in the past with another dog.
This is an incredibly heartbreaking and difficult decision for us, but Leia is currently living in a multi-pet home where the environment has become too stressful and unpredictable to provide the specialized setup she needs to blossom. Leia is a wonderful dog who simply requires the right environment, and we are willing to travel to deliver her to the right match. Please apply to meet Leia today to see if she is the right fit for your home.
