He’s healthy, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations—ready to give his whole heart to the right person.
Hugs is a playful, affectionate boy who thrives on human connection. He enjoys exploring a yard, lounging in the sun, and getting belly rubs from his favorite people. He does well with dogs his size or larger, but his exuberant play style can be a bit much for smaller pets. Hugs greets everyone he meets with excitement and full-body affection—he’s never met a stranger! Because he gets anxious when left alone, he’d do best with someone who works from home, has a flexible schedule, or can offer plenty of companionship.
Hugs is house-trained and knows to do his business outside, though he’s not crate-trained and can get nervous when left alone for long periods. His current owner loves him deeply, but due to an upcoming move out of state and increasingly long work hours, they know Hugs deserves more time, stability, and comfort than they can provide.
