Meet Hamish (New Digs)!

Hamish and Hattie

These two sweet dogs are the goofballs and cuddle buddies that a family with kids would love! They are 3 years old and each between 80-90 lbs. We think they are a shepherd mix. Hattie and Hamish are both very athletic and enjoy a good walk. They constantly play in the backyard. As active as they are, when they settle inside you can find them cuddling with each other and are always down for a pet. They have come to our home through family friends that moved to New York City in an apartment and felt that the fit in an apartment without a backyard would not be best for them.

They love children and are well behaved with our guinea pigs and chickens. We do not know how well they do with cats. Hamish and our older male dog do not get along. They do get along very well with our female dog. They are fast learners.

These dogs are house trained and do very well in a house environment. They prefer not to be in a crate for long periods of time, but will go into one. They enjoy walks and do pretty well on a leash. They both know basic commands such as sit and stay. Hamish has learned how to lay down.

These dogs are so deserving of a loving home and with the right environment will continue to thrive! Please adopt Hamish and Hattie today.
