Meet Arlo – Your Goofy and Playful Best Friend!
Arlo is a 14-month-old Australian Shepherd with a big heart and lots of energy! Weighing around 40 lbs, he is playful, affectionate, and loves making new dog friends at daycare and the park. He enjoys belly rubs, chasing toys, and going for long walks. Arlo is healthy, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations, ready to find his forever home!
Arlo is friendly with all dogs and loves to play. He is smart and highly trainable, especially when food is involved! He already knows sit, lay, spin, shake, and more, and even completed a two-week professional training program, where he did great around farm animals like horses, chickens, and cats. At home, Arlo is extremely protective of his space, but once he knows you, he’s your best friend for life. He is fully potty-trained, crate-trained (and loves his crate!), and walks well on a leash. He may get excited when seeing other dogs on walks, but with a little guidance, he settles down and walks calmly.
Arlo would love a home with a backyard to run and play and an owner who enjoys long walks, and outdoor adventures. Because he can be protective, he’d do best in a home without young children or frequent visitors. If you have another dog, Arlo will be thrilled—he loves having a playmate! Arlo is a loving, smart, and loyal pup who will be an amazing companion for the right person.
