Reflecting on 2023, we’re deeply grateful for the milestones Dallas Pets Alive! has reached with your support. Our 2023 Impact Report highlights our joint accomplishments, and I’m eager to share them:
- Rescued 616 Pets: Your support enabled 616 happy tales.
- 506 Adoptions: We joyfully found forever homes for 506 pets.
- PASS Program Success: Serving 5,352 families, the PASS Program prevented 544 owner-surrenders, embodying our mission to keep pets and families together.
- Adoption Container Initiative: In partnership with Community Beer Co., we launched an Adoption Container, leading to 410 fosters coming out to the container and 47 adoptions, enhancing our visibility and community support.
- Welcoming Dogs Matter: Joining forces with Dogs Matter, we’re expanding our reach and resources to provide temporary foster homes for dogs whose owners are embarking on a road to recovery.
2024 is already off to an amazing start, we are inspired to achieve more for pets and people alike. Your ongoing support drives our mission, and we’re excited to transform more lives together.

Is your dog the next Pup-casso? For a $10 contribution (complimentary for DPA! fosters), let your dog unleash their inner artist with peanut butter as their medium. Meet us at the Adoption Container Friday afternoon for this yummy event!
🐈 Caturday Kitten Shower, March 9th
It’s the purrrfect way to start the weekend. We’re kicking off kitten season with a fun-filled kitten shower to celebrate our tiniest feline friends! You’re invited to enjoy a day filled with all things cat-tastic. Come and mingle with fellow cat enthusiasts, share your favorite cat stories, and meet some of the most adorable adoptable cats seeking their forever homes.
📚 Kids Reading to Adoptable Fosters, March 15th
Young readers become the storytellers for our foster dogs! Kids of all ages will have the opportunity to read their favorite stories to our foster pups, providing valuable socialization for our dogs and helping children develop their reading skills. Let’s create unforgettable memories, one story at a time!
🐶 Kiss My Mutt Adoption Event, March 16th
This heartwarming dog adoption event is packed full of tail-wagging joy! Our furry friends are ready to steal your heart, and to make the day even sweeter, we’ve set up an adorable Kissing Booth. For just a $5 donation to DPA!, you can capture a moment of pure puppy love. Don’t miss the chance to pucker up for a good cause and, who knows, you might just find your perfect match among our lovable mutts!
😻 DFW Pets Are Family, March 23rd
The DFW Pets Are Family events in 2023 are a beacon of hope for keeping families and pets together in the Dallas Fort Worth area. These events have already delivered significant support, including nearly 100,000 lbs of food and free medical services. Join us in celebrating the special bond between people and their animals!
🌷 Spring Bark, March 30th
Get ready for a tail-wagging good time! Join us for a day filled with sunshine, laughter, and furry companionship. Dive into doggy pools to keep our four-legged friends cool, explore pet-themed vendors offering paw-some goodies, and treat your pup to refreshing pup-sicles. Our adoptable foster dogs are eagerly waiting to meet you. Come for the fun, stay for the memories. Let the paw-ty begin!
🐰 Easter Bunny Pictures, March 31st
What could be cuter? For a $10 donation, you and your pet can get photos taken with the DPA! Easter Bunny. This adorable brunch-time event is a perfect way to kick-off your spring. Make sure to join us so you can create a keepsake with your pet!
Dallas Pets Alive! Adoptable Pets Spotlight
Dumpling, a lovable and spirited cat, has successfully raised 7 kittens who have all been adopted. Now it’s her turn to find a forever home where she can enjoy her favorite Churu treats and receive the affection she adores. Dumpling promises to be a joyous addition to any family. Adopt Dumpling!
