Meet Toby – your new favorite adventure buddy and resident goofball!
Tobestar-the-Superstar is a 4-year-old, 60-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback-Treeing Walker Coonhound mix – a hound dog with a mohawk and a personality a mile wide!
Toby is the ultimate adventure companion with the most stunning copper eyes. Whether running, hiking, walking, or playing disc golf, he’s ready to join in with enthusiasm (epic zoomies included). But don’t let his athletic side fool you – he’s also the Prince of Snoozeville, happy to curl up on the couch or in a cozy chair for a long, luxurious nap.
Toby had a rough start in life, mistreated by his former family and understandably fearful at first. Thanks to lots of love, training, and snacks, he’s blossomed into a confident, affectionate pup with an irresistible goofy streak.
This little prince is a total ladies’ man who loves hamming it up for attention, though he’s equally happy to accept scritches from the guys as well. While he’s okay with respectful kids and dogs when out and about, Toby would be best in a home where he can be the star of the show – no other pets or young children please.
Toby is in perfect health, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Though not crate trained, he’s a gentleman at home, content to snooze the day away while you’re out. Smart as a whip and incredibly loyal, walks wonderfully both on and off leash, heels, comes when called, and even switches sides on command during walks or runs. He knows a ton of commands and loves showing them off – especially for treats!
If you’re looking for a silly, sweet, devoted adventure buddy who is ready to both hit the trail and hog the couch, Tobestar just might be your guy. Apply to adopt Toby VI today!
