Meet the belly flopper Ryuk! He is a year and half old, he weighs 59 pounds and is a husky ,with a short energy level. We’ve had this handsome boy for a year now, sadly we found him and his sister dumbed in front of a shelter, we didn’t want the shelter to call animal control so we decided to foster them instead! Ryuk is up to date on all his vaccines and he is neutered. He has no known medical issues but dose hate the vet.
Ryuk is a high energy pup who loves to cuddle, if anyone gets 2 inches to close he will flop on the ground and beg for all the scratches he can get. He gets along with other dogs and currently lives with his 2 foster sisters Rem and Misa, although his sisters like to bully him, he still loves them very much and will snuggle up with them any chance he gets! Ryuk likes to cuddle up with his mama. He loves belly scratches and face kisses. A suitable home for Ryuk is one with a loving family who has someone available to stay home and provide him with the attention he needs. Ideally, if he is placed with other pets, he should not be housed with younger pets that also require significant attention.
Unfortunately we aren’t able to keep Ryuk, I wish I could say it’s because of behavioral issues or something like that, but the truth is we love Ryuk he’s a great pup but we just aren’t home enough. He is not getting a good life and due to his sister bullying him we can only have them out together if we’re home and that leaves him in a crate all day and that’s just not a good life for him. It’s not fair to him.
Ryuk is crate, potty and house trained, he knows how to sit, lay down, stay, place in crate and shake! He is working on being fully house trained since he is still young he will need additional training. He is very smart and will outsmart us humans sometimes, He loves his very long walks, sticking his head out the window during car rides, and loves to go to the dog park. Surprisingly unlike other huskies Ryuk loves to be groomed. He is very energetic but that energy dose run out quick which then he wants to cuddle on the couch with his chew toy.
