Meet Rosie X (New Digs)!

Meet the beautiful Rosie, a certified house hippo aka American Bully! She’s almost two years old (August baby) and built like a solid brick house at a squat 75lbs. She does very cute side to side happy dances! Rosie came from a breeder, and has been with a family since about 10 weeks of age. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines as well as her heartworm and flea prevention.

Rosie is mostly a very chill and affectionate girl who gets crazy zoomies sometimes. She absolutely LOVES to shred boxes, and play rough with her brother. Rosie loves to try to mold herself onto you if given the opportunity, and will use her paw to communicate that you’ve stopped touching her after approximately 5 seconds. She has grown up with her brother along with cats, and a small child, and has done well with them. She exhibited some resource guarding when she was younger, but she has been fine in recent times. Rosie is a very sweet girl, but needs some more socialization. She wants to be pet by everyone, but gets overwhelmed so she’d need someone/a family that understands this.

Rosie is house broken and crate trained, and knows basic manners, but could use more training to establish firm boundaries. Her family is seeking a new home for
Rosie through no fault of her own. Both her and her brother have allergies that need pretty consistent vet care and medications along with medicated baths, so having two large breed dogs with this is financially a lot for her family. Also as an FYI she didn’t win the lottery with her knees either, and will need support with this as well with supplements and medicine.

Rosie is a very smart girl and has a bit of sass too (in a funny way)! She would ideally have a home with kids that are a bit older (over 10) if the prospective family has kids, regardless she would do best with someone/a family who are willing to put the time in to help her come out of her shell and with training. If you feel Rosie wiggling into your heart already, please reach out for adoption information!
