Meet Rocky VI (New Digs)!

Hello, meet Rocky VI! He is a very loving and playful chestnut/brown Basset Hound Mix who is only one year old and weighs 39 pounds. He came in as a stray to the Mesquite Animal Shelter, which is where I adopted him from. He was neutered and microchipped and received his last round of shots in March 2024.

Rocky is a friendly, mid-energy dog who simply enjoys being in your presence. He has never been around other cats or dogs but has been around children, which is when his playful side comes out the most. He enjoys belly rubs and overall lovable affection. Rocky will thrive in a home with or without children as he is a great companion who doesn’t mind getting all the attention to himself!

Rocky will stay on a leash and in a crate when necessary, he also prefers to be indoors. We are working on his jumping, but he understands the commands, “get down and sit” and won’t mind learning more if it comes with a special treat! He does very well during car rides as he is very observant.

If you are looking for a paw-sitively charming loyal companion apply to adopt Rocky VI today!
