Meet super playful and loyal Miku! She is a 25 pound, 1 year old super mutt of many breeds giving her the dachshund looking face and body but with legs for days making her the perfect candidate for fetch and long walks. Found as a stray in Wise Country, Texas, she was found with a pink collar but no one ever came to claim her. She is currently up to date on all her shots and also recently spayed and microchipped.
Miku loves being outside chasing after squirrels, basking in the sun and chasing after a ball. While loving the great outdoors, she is a pillow princess who loves a soft dog bed and blanket to snuggle up in. Being a young puppy, Miku loves playing fetch, taking long walks and runs around the neighborhood where she can smell all the smells. Being a chewer, she knows how to chew on only her dog toys but you may find some fluff scattered around your house. She currently does not live with any other pets but enjoys being around other dogs she has gotten to know. When not playing, Miku loves to cuddle up in one of her many beds next to a window, on the back of the couch or in her human’s lap (whichever is the softest). An ideal home would be where her adult humans were home most of the time with no or only older kids. She likes to be the center of attention.
Miku is house trained and loves using her doggy door to go in and out as outside is one of her favorite places to be. She knows how to sit and is working on other basic commands and is getting better on a leash each and every day. While often skittish at first, she loves meeting new people. If you need to leave the house, the crate is a great option but Miku much prefers to be by your side when you are home. As a shadow dog, she likes to know where her people are and even enjoys when you take her with you on adventures out of the house!
