Age: Young
Breed: German Shepherd Dog
Gender: Male
Location: New Digs Owner’s Home

Meet Max VIX (New Digs)!

Meet Max VIX! He is a mixed breed German Shepard Male (neutered) weighing approximately 55 pounds. He is roughly 1 1/2 years old.

We found him on our doorstep in January after being abandoned. Because of a recent surgery which meant physical limitations on our part, we took him to a shelter. We watched carefully as we wanted no harm to come to him and after he wasn’t adopted, we rescued him.

Max is crate trained and learns quite easily. He loves walking on his leash at a nearby trail. He loves visiting dog parks where running and playing with other dogs is high priority….chasing squirrels too. And he loves doggie daycare. He hasn’t met a cat so no data on that front. While we aren’t having any accidents in our home, I hesitate to say he is fully house trained as we do watch him carefully.

Max is still a high energy pup who loves to play fetch, chew sticks and play with his toys. He loves belly rubs and hanging out with humans.

An ideal home for Max would be one with a loving female who wants furry friend who will happily ensure she and the home are safe. Max clearly prefers women and seems to bond best with one person.
