Luna XVI is a sweet and goofy 6-month-old Great Dane mix who weighs about 50 pounds and is ready to steal your heart! With her striking black and white coat, big floppy ears, and oversized paws, Luna is sure to turn heads wherever she goes. She’s incredibly smart, friendly, and loving, despite having a bit of a rough start in life. Luna was found abandoned on the street, but her past hasn’t dampened her spirits one bit! She is spayed and is undergoing her vaccinations to ensure she’s happy and healthy in her new home.
This gentle giant is still a puppy at heart, but she’s surprisingly low-key when it comes to energy levels. Luna enjoys playing with her toys and doesn’t require super long walks, making her a great fit for many lifestyles. While she adores humans, she can get a bit overwhelmed when meeting new dogs on walks and may need some extra support and training in that area. She would do best in a home with a yard where she can play freely and would thrive with a family who has the patience and understanding to help her socialize with other canine companions. When it comes to cuddling, Luna loves nothing more than snuggling up next to you for some quality bonding time.
Luna is housebroken but, being a puppy, she’ll need frequent potty breaks throughout the day. She’s eager to learn and ready to start training to master some fun tricks! Luna’s ideal home would be with a family who can provide her with the love and attention she deserves. A home without other dogs, or one with owners experienced in introducing new dogs, would be the perfect fit. We’re rehoming Luna because we already have three large dogs and live in a four-story townhouse, which isn’t the best environment for a Great Dane with their long legs and risk of injury on the stairs.
