Kushia, named for the street on which he was found, is a boy looking to put the past behind him. He’s shy when he first meets new people, but he wants to be equal parts affectionate buddy and eager playmate. He’s already figured out how to have fun with dogs his own size and he occasionally reminds the neighbor’s cat that his yard is for his family’s exclusive use.
In fact, home may be Kushia’s favorite and most important place. He’d rather stay at home than go out and about on the town, and if he must choose between his favorite toy or putting on his leash and going for a walk, the toys will always win – paws down.
Kisses are given generously by this two-year-old boy, and although he doesn’t spend time with kids in his current foster home, he has in the past. But the past is behind him and Kushia will need a home where he can relax, learn the skills he missed out on as a pup, and continue to be the handsome dog he’s going to be for the rest of his life.
