Jack VIV is an 8-year-old dog, about 20-25 lbs. and is a Jack Russell terrier mix breed. We call him our Disney dog because he has a Mickey head on his back. He loves to sleep on the bed and if you open the bedroom door, you have to watch out because he will be on the bed in a flash. If you have a tree in the back yard, he will guard it from the squirrels. He believes the tree belongs to him and the squirrels should not be in “his” tree.
Jack is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines through August. Jack loves treats and if he hears the rapper of paper in the kitchen, he will be there in a jiffy wanting a handout. Jack is good with other dogs, children, and people. He hasn’t been around cats much so I can’t say how he would do around cats. He loves to ride in the car. If he gets outside all you need to do is open the car door and he will jump in.
Jack is leash trained and housebroken. However, he must have been crate trained when he was a puppy because he needs to go outside after he eats. If you have a shady yard, Jack will be outside all day “protecting” the trees from the squirrels. He would be good playing with children in the yard.
The ideal home for Jack is with someone that has room for him to play outside but also loves to have him snuggling up next to you on the couch or in the bed.
