Meet Harley VIII – A Brave and Loving Soul
Harley is a sweet and resilient 54-lb Pitbull/Staffy mix looking for a patient and loving home. Found as a stray in a malnourished state, he has made incredible progress since being rescued and is slowly learning to trust the world around him.
Though still a bit fearful of new people and experiences, Harley has shown remarkable improvement in his confidence. He has made great strides with leash training and no longer pulls as much. He has also started taking treats during training, making it easier to help him continue learning. While not fully crate-trained, he has made incredible progress in just over two weeks (he sleeps all night in his crate with no issues but still needs to learn to be left alone in it).
Harley is the sweetest boy and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He is good with cats and other dogs, making him a great addition to a multi-pet household.
He loves his chew toys and lick mat with peanut butter, making independent playtime a joy for him.
Harley tested positive for heartworms and is undergoing treatment.
This gentle, loving boy needs a calm, understanding home where he can continue to build confidence and feel safe. If you’re looking for a companion who will reward your patience with unwavering love, Harley is ready to be your best friend.
