Meet Hamish (New Digs)!

Meet Hamish! He is a sweet goofball and cuddle buddy that a family with kids would love! He is 3 years old and between 80-90 lbs. We think he’s a shepherd mix. Hamish is very athletic and enjoys a good walk. He is constantly playing in the backyard with his canine friends. As active as he is, when he settles inside you can find him cuddling. Hamish came to our home through family friends that moved to New York City in an apartment and felt that the fit in an apartment without a backyard would not be best for him.

He loves children and is well behaved with our guinea pigs and chickens. We do not know how well he would do with cats. Hamish and our older male dog do not get along. He does get along very well with our female dog. He is a fast learner.

Hamish is house trained and does very well in a house environment. He prefers not to be in a crate for long periods of time, but will go into one. He enjoys walks and does pretty well on a leash. He knows basic commands such as sit and stay. Hamish has learned how to lay down.

Hamish is so deserving of a loving home and with the right environment will continue to thrive! Please adopt Hamish today!
