Affectionate, sweet Eva believes other dogs are in her life to be her friend. She’s eager to greet any canine who wanders her way while walking on her leash and she plays with dogs in her home because they’re her family. She recognizes when other dogs lack interest in her play style, though, and her wagging tail makes it clear she wants to make friends.
From her first contact with her foster family, she has proven herself to be trusting. She allowed herself to be carried, bathed, and given a hefty dose of tender, loving care. Eva may have also picked up several new skills thanks to her love of training treats. She’ll take them gently, too, which makes her all the more endearing. She was just as well behaved at the vet as she is at home.
Eva will likely thrive in a calm house, may find joy in a fellow furry friend, and will need encouragement to get over her concern when loud noises startle her. She’s not shown much interest in cats – or even squirrels – when out for her walk. She may need to take time to ease into a new home, but once she does, she’ll just want to be petted and loved. Lots and lots of love.
