Meet the lovely Ellie VI. She is a healthy 2 year old, Aussie/Lab mix that weighs 70 lbs. This sweet baby girl will be excited to meet her new loving family. Ellie is white/tan and has a blue eye and a brown eye. She is a lot of fun, playful, smart, energetic, clever, and loves affection. Ellie is an indoor dog, but she enjoys daily walks and playing outside with her family members. She is wonderful with nice people. She can be protective, but not aggressive. She may bark initially at strangers. Ellie strongly prefers to be the only pet in the house. She doesn’t want to share the spotlight. She does not get along with other female dogs. She has never been around male dogs or cats. She has never been around small children either. But I can assure you, as an only pet she will be your best friend her entire life! Ellie has been spayed and microchipped, and all of her vaccines are up-to-date.
Ellie is house-trained and leash-trained. She has never been in a crate. She is not used to being alone for more than 3 hours. Ellie was given to us by neighbors who moved away from this area. They were not able to take her with them. She was 4 months old at the time. So we have been taking care of her for almost 2 years. Unfortunately, we are an older couple who now deal with many more health issues. We have extreme difficulty caring for Ellie properly. We also have another female dog. We have to keep them separated, otherwise they fight often. This has become beyond stressful and costly. Although we love Ellie very much and will miss her sweet presence, it is critical to find her a caring new family soon. She is very lovable and a great companion. You will love Ellie! She will give you no choice. 🙂 Please apply to adopt Ellie VI today!
