Meet the sweet Dakota! He is a 4-year-old Australian Shepherd with a calm nature and the gentlest soul. Dakota joined our family as a puppy and has been the most loyal, loving companion ever since.
Dakota is a mild-mannered, friendly boy who enjoys lounging by your side, chasing the occasional ball, and soaking up all the attention he can get. He’s wonderful with kids and has lived peacefully with both dogs and cats in the past. While he’s not currently in a home with other animals, he’s always shown friendliness and ease around them. Dakota especially loves chin scratches and will never say no to a crunchy carrot treat!
He likes to curl up next to his humans and is always happy to be close—whether it’s for a nap or just to keep you company. An ideal home for Dakota would be a loving environment and people who are around often to give him a pat and all the good boys he deserves.
Dakota is crate trained, house trained, and walks well on a leash. He’s smart, attentive, and easy to have around. He enjoys car rides, slow strolls, and simply being part of the family.
This sweet pup is ready for his perfect furever home. Could it be with you? Apply to adopt Dakota III today!
