Coco VI (New Digs)

Age: Adult
Breed: German Shepherd Dog
Gender: Female

Meet Coco VI (New Digs)!

Meet sweet Coco VI who absolutely loves to cuddle with stuffed dog toys. Coco was adopted from the Dallas Animal Shelter on November 16, 2019. She was about 8 months old at the time of adoption. Coco is almost six years old and weighs 40 pounds.

This dog sure loves to relax and lie down inside the home. She is a calm dog but can be very anxious as well. Ever since we adopted her, Coco can be shy at times and will tuck her tail between her legs but will easily warm up to you when shown love. We do not know her history prior to being adopted. Coco is updated on vaccines recently received in September 2024. She is also spayed and microchipped.

Indoors Coco has a calm personality and loves to lay by our front door, as she is keeping watch on our home. She loves affection and cuddles. Coco can be very active outside and loves to play fetch with the tennis ball. She is good at checking her backyard surroundings and will walk the fence line to make sure everything is safe. Coco loves to put her paw on your leg when you are sitting down and petting her. She is good around other dogs, but it is unknown how she would do around cats. Coco needs to be in a home with teens and/or adults. She does not do well around young children. It would be best for her to have a yard or be taken on a couple of walks a week. She loves to go on walks or runs with you! Coco does like to semi-pull you when you start your walk or run, of course, that is due to her excitement! She will quickly calm down and be on good behavior.

Coco is crate and house-trained. She has always done outstanding in her crate; it is like her little home! She will sometimes even go in to lie down with the door open to her crate when we are home. Semi-leash trained and responds to basic commands (sit, lay down, stay, paw, come, and spin). We are having to rehome Coco due to being skittish around our toddler. However, she is an absolute fan of teens and adults. We also have family health matters going on that are taking up our time. She deserves a loving home that has time for her and will show her an endless amount of love.
