Chance was found lost and alone in his foster’s front yard. He was incredibly weak and underweight, but he still wanted to play with their dog through the fence. It took several hours of trust building before they could approach him enough to pet him, and several days before he was comfortable enough to enter their yard.
He’s become a much happier and healthier pupper in the subsequent weeks and now has begun building a great relationship with their dog as well. He’s still very unsure of people and often seems to think he’s in trouble or that he’s being scolded for something, but he doesn’t do anything wrong and has never required correction for anything whatsoever.
He will need a family patient enough to bond with him slowly, and one that is as kind and as gentle as he is. If he can find a home like that then he will make for an excellent pet and a fantastic addition to the family. He deserves to feel happy and safe after everything he’s been through, and if someone can make that happen then he’ll love you more than you can imagine.
