How did Bluebell come to be part of DPA? Her foster says, “Bluebell arrived as a stray to Dallas Animal Services and sat politely, going unnoticed in her kennel for over a month. We took her out on a daycation and it didn’t take us long to fall in love! We attended Uptown Pup’s Easter Party with her, where there were dogs and people galore, and she did incredibly well (representing the Pitbull Breed, too)! We also brought her to Community Beer Co for Foster Fest and we decided we’d foster her with DPA after she was the perfect patio pup for us all afternoon long.”
Bluebell is your typical Pitty type—sunbathing couch potato who gets the zoomies when outside and wants nothing more in this world than to be next to you getting pets. Just love on four legs. Bluebell’s name might also be somewhat ironic. I mean, ice cream is supposed to be bad for you, but according to the vet her teeth are in super good shape! We love it when the dentist is happy!
She’s as gentle as she is snuggly. an affectionate girl who leans herself into strangers just to ask for a pet. She does great with other dogs and kids and her easygoing personality makes her a great candidate for most homes. She’s fully potty trained, crate-free, and spends her days snoozing peacefully while her foster parents work.
Bluebell lives for pup cups and car rides with the windows down. Whether it’s a laid-back apartment life or a home with a yard and another pup to play tag with, this “potato” just wants a cozy spot on your couch and a lifetime of cuddles.
