Meet Birdie II (New Digs)!

Meet the brown-eyed & dainty Birdie II. She is a 15-month-old, 25lb terrier mix, who loves to be outdoors. We brought Birdie home from the Prairie Paws’ Holiday “Clear the Shelter” Event in December of 2023.
Birdie is a well-rounded pup who tends to go with the flow and is just along for the ride! She’s become an expert bird-watcher & squirrel herder! She gets along with both cats & dogs and currently lives with two older brother dogs and two cats. She and her brother, Pancake, love to race around the yard in the mornings! Birdie also likes to cuddle up with her humans and binging Netflix!

Unfortunately, we are currently at a point in our lives now where Birdie is spending more time in her kennel than she is out of it. We just want her to be able to watch for birds and chase squirrels throughout the day! An ideal home for Birdie would be one with active parents, who are also able to check in on her a couple of times a day.

Birdie is leash-trained and with the right schedule, I’m certain she would completely master crate-training. Birdie is also working on learning to sit and stay on command – she is timid at first, but a quick learner.

This adorable pup is deserving of the perfect furever home. Could it be with you? Apply to adopt Birdie today!
