Meet Benji IV!

Benji is a 7-year-old dog who loves to snuggle and be close to his humans. He’s calm, gentle, and spends most of his time relaxing. Benji gets along well with cats and other dogs, although he might sometimes chase a cat just for fun.
Benji has had a tough time lately. He lived with the same family for six years before coming into foster care. He’s visually impaired and will eventually go completely blind, so he needs a home where people understand his needs and can be patient with him. Right now, he can see shadows and learns his way around the house quickly. But if things move around too much, it can get confusing for him.
Benji is leash-trained and potty-trained, so he’s easy to care for. He doesn’t play much and usually ignores other dogs, but he enjoys wandering around the backyard and exploring. His favorite thing to do is sit in your lap or cuddle beside you on the couch. He’s also a big fan of Pupperoni treats!
Because of his vision, Benji can get spooked if someone comes at him too quickly or tries to make him do something he doesn’t want to do. He’s best in a home without children, as he needs a calm and predictable environment.
Benji’s best qualities include his love of snuggles, his quiet and low-energy personality, and how well he sleeps through the night. If you’re looking for a laid-back, sweet companion who just wants to be by your side, Benji would love to meet you! 🐾
