Losing your pet can be frightening experience, and it can happen to even the most dedicated pet parents. Acting quickly is the key to being reunited with your furry loved one. Here are tips and resources to help you search for your lost pet or reunite a found pet with their family.

File a Lost and Found Report at Dallas Animal Services. Reports can be filed in person at the main DAS location (1818 N. Westmoreland Rd., Dallas), by email or by phone at 214-670-9501.

Visit Dallas Animal Services (and other local shelters in your area) to look for your pet. Shelters receive many lost animals every week, so it’s a great place to start your search.

Put up lost/found pet flyers at local shelters, libraries and veterinarians’ offices.
