Meet our Dog of the Month, Sally!
Sally is a 100% certified Good Girl! She is still a young dog under the age of one and we suspect her to be a lab x dane mix. While she may be growing in size, she still has the behaviors of a pup who’s learning to be her best self.
Sally has a moderate energy level and is equal parts smart and goofy. She loves to give and receive affection but tends to forget she’s too big to sit in someone’s lap. She is a regular at DPA events and is truly a social butterfly. She does fantastic with kids, knows her place with cats, and enjoys playing with other dogs.
She would likely do well in a home with an older dog to teach her how to grow up and be a good adult dog. She’s happy to use her crate, and even more happy to leave it in the morning (cue her morning happy dance). She’s housebroken and she’s working on her leash skills, too.
