A walk or a belly rub will bring a winsome smile to her face. She’s photogenic. She loves to sleep on her back and has a favorite chair. Meet Queen Elizabark!
Queen Elizabark (‘Queenie” to her friends) is a five-year-old Pit Bull/Terrier mix with brown fur, caramel-colored eyes and cute pair of floppy ears. She’s one lucky pup, too. DPA quickly came to her rescue when she was in the euthanasia room at the shelter. Her kennel had already been given to another dog, but because Queenie is such a sweet girl, the manager allowed her to stay in an office until DPA could get there and take her into their care. That DPA tag was looking awfully good that day! We all think she’s here for a reason.
This muscular sweetie loves to be with people, does an excited rhumba-like dance when she thinks it’s time for a walk and favors a certain arm chair so much that she will sit on top of anyone who is sitting in it. She is healthy, was treated for heartworms in March 2019, and is doing great.
Are you looking to take a walk with a friend? Could you be the person that Queenie shares her chair with? Queen Elizabark is 50% off through July. Apply to adopt Queen here or email adopt@dallaspetsalive.org.
