DPA Dog of the Month – March: Meet MOLLIE

A strong, lean, friendly hiker and cuddler who loves people and other dogs … meet Mollie!

A young, female, black-and-white Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd/Border Collie mix with speckled paws, dark eyes and floppy ears, this big girl is ready for a forever home of her own!

Mollie is a high-energy pup and is accepting of all kinds of people and dogs.  She will keep you company on walks — and even on runs — but will pretend to be a lap dog, ask for attention by placing a paw on you and sweetly curl up with you on the sofa at the end of the day.

Mollie is house-broken, crate-trained and walks pretty well on a leash.  A key to keeping her happy and well-behaved is lots of exercise and consistent training.  Thanks to her caring foster family, she is able to sit, stay and shake and is working on a few other commands to impress you.

We think this special pup will be happiest in a house with a yard and some trails nearby.  Because of her size and her instinct to herd, we think a household with older kids is best.

If you are active and willing to take Mollie along on your adventures, she would be an enthusiastic companion.

Are you looking for a friend for those long walks in the park? Mollie is 50% off through March. Apply to adopt Mollie here or email adopt@dallaspetsalive.org.
