Meet Eikichi!
✨ 2-year old female Calico
📦 Weight: About 8 lbs (up from 4.5 lbs over the past 7 months)
🏥 Fully vaccinated + on monthly deworming serum
🏡 Adopted from Dallas Animal Services
Eikichi is a tender-hearted, playful cat with a resilient spirit and a whole lot of personality. She’s sweet with adults and children, and loves gentle head and chin scratches. But she’s got boundaries—touch her back the wrong way and she might let out a low growl as a polite heads-up.
She’s a lively, toy-loving soul who never says no to a tunnel sprint or a laser chase. Her food habits have evolved from ravenous scavenger to a mindful eater who stops when full—though she still has a rebellious streak when other cats’ food is nearby.
In her early weeks at home, Eikichi faced challenges: tension with a dominant female cat, a painful tail injury, and a few litter box slips during recovery (now fully healed!). She’s even marked territory with urine outside the litter box a handful of times—less than ten occasions across seven months—likely connected to cat-to-cat stress. This behavior is infrequent and expected to ease further with the right peaceful setup.
Despite all this, Eikichi shines with resilience. She’s grown in weight, confidence, and curiosity, and shows hints of separation anxiety that melt with reassurance and love.
She may do well with another cat—one with a gentle temperament. Her response to dogs remains unknown. Eikichi is ready for a compassionate home where she can feel safe, cherished, and fully herself.
This soulful firecracker is one-of-a-kind. If you see her gentle magic, she’ll light up your world. Adopt Eikichi!
