Maggie IV is a gorgeous, 5.5-year-old, 75 lb German Shepherd with a docile, easygoing spirit and just the right touch of sass. She’s a cool, collected, and loyal companion who loves nothing more than sunbathing in the yard, chasing squirrels, or going for a good run. She currently lives happily with her Goldendoodle brother, Carbon, and gets along well with other dogs—especially big ones! (Little dogs can be a bit too much for her taste.)
Maggie is shy at first but warms up quickly, and once she trusts you, she’s all about those sneaky kisses and leaning into you for affection. She thrives on structure and activity and would love a home with space to roam and a human who enjoys walks, jogs, or even teaching her new tricks—she loves to learn and show off her smarts. She knows commands like spin, sit, stay, and more, and she’s fully crate-trained, leash-trained, and house-trained.
This girl’s ideal day includes a morning run, an afternoon nap in the sun, a trip to the dog park, and maybe a ride to Andy’s for a pup treat (yes—she’s a fan of road trips and car rides). Maggie is in excellent health, spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and takes Simparica Trio for heartworm prevention.
She’s been with us for five wonderful years since we adopted her in Round Rock, Texas, but due to financial constraints, we’re making the incredibly difficult decision to find her a new forever home—one where she’ll be loved, exercised, and given the attention she deserves.
Maggie is an incredible dog with so much love and loyalty to give. If you’ve been looking for a smart, active, affectionate pup to join your family—Maggie might just be your perfect match.
