Meet the adorable and energetic Freya! She is a 1 year old, 60 pound, unknown mix. She is very smart and LOVES humans and hugs! She is a strong runner and likes to engage in zoomies and serious sessions of tug to burn energy.
She is potty trained and crate trained. She pulls on her leash but has been receptive of training and that has decreased. She would benefit from someone willing to keep up with her training. She is food motivated which helps with training. She knows sit, lay down and we have been working on stay and right and left spins.
We adopted her a couple of weeks ago from a local shelter and unfortunately our other dog just won’t get along with Freya. We think Freya has just too much energy for our other dog. Freya has not been violent. At the dog park, she is shy around other dogs, but runs up to all the humans. Unsure if that would change since the shelter we got her from said she was good in group play.
