Cricket is a resilient and playful 6-month-old puppy with a heart as big as her journey. She was found as a stray and brought to an emergency vet, where X-rays revealed that all eight of her toes had been dislocated—likely from a bad landing off something high. As a result, she spent weeks (or longer) walking on her wrists, causing painful blisters and discomfort.
Thanks to braces, physical therapy, laser therapy, and water therapy, Cricket is now on to better days! She made a full recovery and can live a happy, active life with no long-term issues.
Cricket is a bit shy at first and needs time to warm up to new people and pets, but once she does, her silly and snuggly personality shines through. She currently lives with four foster siblings and loves to play, nap, and be her full puppy self. Her DNA test results are on the way, and while she’s currently 20 pounds, she’s expected to grow to around 30–50 pounds.
