Meet Jonathan (New Digs)!

Meet the gentle and affectionate senior pup Jonathan. He is a 13 year old gray, black, and beige dachshund poodle mix. He loves pets and cuddling! He does not shed! He is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations. He has allergies which can flare up at certain times of the year. The itching is usually relieved with over the counter medication. He is prone to ear infections due to lots of hair in his ears. Regular plucking and rinsing is helpful in preventing this.

Jonathan is an older pup that likes to rest and have his belly rubbed. He has always gotten along well with other dogs, and is friendly with kids and other pets. He likes to curl up in a soft blanket or cuddle. An ideal home for Jonathan would be one with someone who can be home fairly often. Jonathan can handle rambunctious kids around him but he does not like long walks, jumping, or running around much, so he would be a good fit for someone who has a non-active lifestyle.

Jonathan is house trained but has had some bathroom accidents inside as he has gotten older. He doesn’t need much, just a caring companion. This loving pup is deserving of a loving home!
