Meet Yaddle (if you’re a Star Wars fan you probably understand the name just by looking at those ears). Yaddle is quite the mix of sweet, quiet, shy, funny, stubborn, and SMART. She is pretty unique, and along with all of that, will need some extra TLC and love involved.
Yaddle is a young (possibly 3yrs old?) German Shepherd mix. Her ears don’t quite seem to meet the standard “look”, but don’t’ let that fool you…not only does it make for the cutest faces and pictures (cue head tilt) but she can hear all the neighborhood secrets!
Yaddle will really do best with someone who either has breed experience, or a really well behaved dog already at home (think fun, built-in playmate) to show her proper behavior, and get out some doggy energy!
Yaddle is quite shy with new people, but once she is comfy-she will velcro herself to you! She shows little interest in dog toys, but is a fan of Kongs that hide treats, or can have frozen peanut butter added to them, along with play yard-time and other enrichments.
Yaddle needs the biggest helping hand. She is very bright. She has such potential. DPA is here to answer any questions, and provide resources to help make the perfect match for her! Let’s go Yaddle!
