Wilson is on the zoom, which means he’s ready to play. Not only does he get the zoomies – wanting to move quickly from here to there – but when he’s ready to play, he’ll bring his toy with a smile on his face. At about two years old, this mix of a cattle dog and a whippet has a lot of energy and is learning quickly how to use it. For starters, he’s quick to adapt to new skills and has already learned how to sit, shake, and lie down.
This young man loves other dogs and all indications are he would get along well with cats, and likely kids, too. He’s still a little skittish, so he may prefer lying next to you rather than cuddling close. He’s not spent time in a crate, but he’s gentle on his surroundings and can be left home by himself. He’s not one for fetch, but he can run and jump when outside playing.
Wilson can get distracted when walking on his leash, but only because he wants to say, “Hello, to all the other dogs. Since he’s proven to be a quick learner, he’ll be showing off his skills on leash before too long. He’s healthy and housetrained, and he’s always up for a good, long walk. Overall, Wilson’s a super sweet boy looking for a place to call home.
