Meet Tzatziki!

Meet Tzatziki (“Ziki)!

Are you looking for an Australian Shepherd or cattle dog but worried about the high energy demands? Consider Ziki, an Aussie look-alike with a calm, loving personality who is ready to be your perfect companion.

At 4 years old and 36 pounds, Ziki has a laid-back demeanor that makes him an ideal companion for anyone seeking a dog who doesn’t require constant activity. He’s content with just one walk a day and handles leash walking like a pro, making your walks together peaceful and stress-free. Ziki gets along wonderfully with other dogs, as he currently lives with four in his foster home and has done great in every environment he’s been in. He even stayed with a temporary foster for two weeks and was the perfect guest, getting along well with both humans and dogs.

One of Ziki’s sweetest traits is his gentle nature, especially when taking treats. Despite his love for food, he’s always polite and careful. And if you’re a fan of cuddling, Ziki is your guy! He adores belly rubs and will happily snuggle up with you on the couch or in bed, though he’s equally content sleeping in his kennel at night. Potty training? No worries-Ziki is fully housebroken.

Ziki is ready for a loving forever home where he can share his calm, affectionate energy. Whether he’s part of a multi-dog household or the only pet, Ziki will be happy to fit right in and shower you with love.
