Meet the sweet Sugar Mama! She is a 7-year-old, 58 lbs Pit mix with gorgeous blue eyes. I adopted Sugar Mama nearly 5 years ago from a shelter in Coconino, Arizona. Upon first meeting, she had clear indicators of abuse and trauma. She was very afraid and anxious. It has been a long journey but she is now a happy sweet girl.
Sugar Mama is a laid-back pup who loves to go for long walks and cuddle on the couch. Sugar Mama enjoys the outdoors but can also chill out and relax on the couch. She gets along with dogs moderately, but each case is different. She has lived with other dogs before and loved playing with her best friend, Yogi. She can be intimidated by larger dogs due to size, and anxious around hyperactive pups, but she can be friendly. Sugar Mama likes to cuddle up with her humans and loves to give kisses. An ideal home for Sugar Mama would be one with no kids.
Sugar Mama is house-trained and crate-trained. During strenuous events (storms/fireworks etc) she can resent the crate, and knows/is working on leash training moderately (She is well on the lease but again in circumstances she can be anxious and tug). She is one smart pup! She loves to play tug with her rope, enjoys a treat, likes to chill out in the bathtub, and adores belly scratches.
This sweet girl is deserving of the perfect furever home. Could it be with you? Apply to adopt Sugar Mama today!
