Meet Pepper VIII!

Meet gorgeous Pepper! Pepper is a 4-year-old Lab mix (check out those cute pop-up ears!). He was saved from euthanizing at a shelter by DPA and is so ready for the stability and love his new forever home will offer.

Pepper is EXTREMELY affectionate and is 1000% convinced he’s a lap dog. Don’t bother telling him he’s not – he won’t believe you! One look into his big puppy-dog eyes and you may find yourself forgetting as well! He loves kisses and pets and following his person around everywhere.

Pepper is housetrained and knows sit, stay, down, and shake. He can be left alone at home uncrated while you’re out. He is initially very exuberant on walks but will calm down and walk on leash with you. He gets along well with other dogs. He is moderately playful and enjoys a good squeaky toy and a chase. He will also calmly and happily lounge on the couch with you for hours.

Overall, we’d describe Pepper as friendly, lovable, silly, calm, and uncompromisingly cuddly! Our favorite physical traits are his enormous ears and expressive puppy dog eyes. Pepper will do best in a home where there’s a big open space for him to play, with a family who has a lot of love to give and is ready to receive even more in return! We hope you’ll consider this deserving, sweet boy.
