Meet Ladybird! She is a fun-loving gal who likes long walks, playing with toys, and snuggling on the couch/bed. She is 5 years and 10 months old, weighs 70 lbs, and is a black-and-white lab mix. Ladybird gets told quite often how cute and sweet she is. Ladybird is in tip-top health and is up to date on her vaccines, is neutered, and microchipped.
Ladybird spends most of her day chilling in her bed, with intermittent potty breaks outside. She likes to take a walk in the morning and at night, or play in the yard with her favorite frisby. She’s excellent at fetch and will fly to get it and bring it back to you with a big old sloppy grin on her face. Ladybird gets along with other dogs on walks and at the park. She is looking for a home where she can be the star of the family. Born an only child, she prefers a home without children or with older children that can understand and respect her boundaries with food and eating space. She loves to cuddle and hang out by your side as you do things around the house or relax. An ideal home for Ladybird would be one with a doting owner to love her.
Ladybird is leash, house, and crate trained. She responds to sit, stay, down, shake, potty, leave it, drop it, and time for bed. She is one smart pup! Ladybird does just fine when left alone for a few hours. We are having to rehome Ladybird because of food possession. Our house is not equipped to keep our extremely curious/mobile toddler and ladybird separated when food is present (literally all day long with a growing toddler).
Ladybird is extremely affectionate and loves to be part of the group. She is a playful, snuggly, and happy girl. Apply to adopt Ladybird today!
