Meet Kobe II! Or as he is lovingly known as (Mr.) Bones/Kobe Bones He is a 5 1/2 years old, 76lb, coonhound and labrador mix! with adorable brown eyes and a unique double dewclaw. We adopted Kobe from the animal shelter in our town and it was love at first sight! He was so gentle with our then-toddler and had such a sweet face and goofy personality!!
Kobe is a snuggly boy who prioritizes a good nap. However, don’t let him fool you this boy can run and does so often. Even though he has hip dysplasia it doesn’t slow him down! He can outrun the other dogs he plays with any day. He gets along with children and loves their kisses and hugs. Kobe prefers to be alone when it comes to other animals. When he is around other dogs for playtime it’s best to do it one on one he can get a bit overwhelmed and uncomfortable otherwise. However he loves to play tag and tug of war any chance he gets! Kobe is the sweetest boy! He especially loves a good cuddle and watching tv with his human friends.
An ideal home for Kobes would be one with older children, or someone who enjoys the slower things in life. Kobe is House Trained and Crate Trained. He knows how to Sit, Stay, Lie down, Sit up, Yes/No, Leave it, and
bedtime (also known as place). He is one smart boy! He loves riding in the car, taking walks, and earning treats. His favorite games are Tug of War (He thinks the ropes with the tassels are the Bee’s Knees} and scent tracking! Scent tracking is when he waits where he can’t see us and we hide bits of treats and his job is to find them.
