Jewels is a gem of a young girl. She’s hit her first birthday and is straddling the playful energy of a puppy and her grown up independence. She’s house broken, has spent time with other dogs, and she may benefit from an older and wiser dog to help her mature.
One skill she mastered early on was getting out of her yard, but after spending time waiting for the best house for her, she didn’t get to spend enough time with a loving family. She’s relied on herself, so she’s often uneasy about meeting new people. But her shyness is starting to melt as she gets used to a healthy home life.
She’ll still wander around with a toy in her mouth, giving off Jewels’ adorable puppy vibes. She also prefers to lie by herself and isn’t much of a social butterfly. She will play with other pups in a polite and dainty way, and she’s learning to trust humans. She’s a smart girl, though, so finding a happy home won’t be far off.
