Eleanor III

Age: Baby
Breed: Retriever, Black Labrador/Mixed Breed (Large)
Gender: Female

Meet Eleanor III!

Listening and learning are two of Eleanor’s finest traits and she’s working on acquiring many more. At four months old, she’s practicing “sit and “down, and responds eagerly when she hears her name. She’s leash trained, crate trained, and house broken, mostly from enjoying a good routine of going out for walks. It helps that she’s treat motivated, too.

Eleanor enjoys lounging in the yard, especially if people are nearby to keep her company. Her favorite new friend, an older male dog, proves that Eleanor is wonderful at finding her place and fitting in. She’s also enjoyed getting to know a few youngsters, and can rest quietly in her crate while the adults are tending to home responsibilities.

Kongs and ropes are Eleanor’s favorite toys. She has big, adorable eyes and gives loving kisses. Eleanor is curious, and smart, and at times fearless, but she’s a cuddler and ready to find her forever family to live with, to play with, and to love.

Eleanor is available for pre-adopt only at this time as she is not old enough to move to a forever home, but applications can still be completed. Applications for pre-adopt are processed in the order they are received.
