Meet Doja!

You may start to think of a soft fuzzy stuffed animal when you first look at Doja-with her teddy bear face and sweet expression! She is a German Shepherd mix believed to be about 3.5 years old….

This cutie was found as a stray-but she is so full of love and energy to give and share with someone! Doja had a previous leg injury and had to have an amputation. Doja does not let living life on 3-limbs stop her and is full of fun.

Doja loves her dog toys, so much so that she will roll over on her belly and hold them while she plays! Doja’s foster says she gets goofy when she plays and is learning how to play fetch!
She also likes to greet you when you come home, but kennels quietly when you’re gone.

Doja is just like us-looking for love & affection and a responsible person to keep her activities up, and give her cuddles when she’s feeling snuggly, or keep her occupied with lots of adventures!

Doja’s foster describes her as a “super chill dog” who loves to go for walks, both long and short. She loves to lay on the couch or anywhere that looks even kinda comfy. Doja knows how to sit, and is potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained.

So far Doja does best with other male dogs and LOVES to play. Doja does well with adults and kids and would love a yard for exercise and fresh air!

Give this girl a chance and contact DPA to meet Doja in person!
